I have uploaded a few tools to Allegorithmic’s share site. This is a site for Substance Designer and Painter users to share tools and textures.
My files are located here.
There is a vector-based warp filter that moves the source pixel location 16 times along the vector field inside a single pixel processor. From what I can tell the Allegorithmic-supplied warp node only does this once. Which means the vector warp node tends to break down to noise at higher displacements.
The second tool creates circles, pie slices and arcs. You set the outer radius, the arc’s angle, and the thickness.
In a new version, which should be out soon, I added the ability to apply a function to the outer radius and thickness parameters. There are linear and sine functions built-in. Plus you can use a source image as the function. The node just samples the image along a horizontal line and uses the 0-1 value as a scale modifier.
Also, the luminosity can be tied to the radius, thickness, or both (an average of the two).
The third file that is there is my entry to one of Allegorithmic’s contests. It didn’t do very well, but has a fair number of downloads. So I decided to leave it there.
